NOTE: This is a legacy application and is no longer updated. It is strongly recommended to migrate to LT3.
- Download the Laser Templator installation file from the following link: Laser Templator Software Download
- NOTE: Microsoft .NET 2.0 and .NET 3.5 are required to be installed on your computer prior to installing the Laser Templator software. If it is not, you will be prompted to install it. Instructions can be found here: Install .NET 2.0 & 3.5 Framework
- NOTE: Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2008, 2010, and 2013 are required to be installed to run the Laser Templator application. This can be done before or after installing the app. Instructions can be found here: Install C++ Dependencies
- NOTE: FTDI’s CDM driver is required to be installed to run the Laser Templator application when connecting to an LT. Without this installed, the LT will not connect and capture measurements. It is not needed if running on a PC that is not connecting to an LT. Instructions can be found here: Install FTDI CDM Driver (USB connection)
- Double-click on the SetupLaserTemplator.msi from where it was downloaded.
- If needed, click More Info > Run > Next
- Select the Everyone radio button > Next
- Click Next
- Click Close
- Right-click on the Laser Templator icon on the desktop
- Click Properties
- Click the Compatibility tab
- Check the box next to Run this program as an administrator and click Apply
- Click OK
