Install .NET 2.0 & 3.5 Framework

LT1 is built on top of Microsoft’s .NET framework. It is a developer platform made up of tools, programming languages, and libraries for building a variety of different types of applications.

The .NET framework is required to be installed prior to installing the LT1.

  1. Click Windows Start button
  2. Type Turn Windows Features on or off > click Turn Windows Features on or off
  3. Tick the box next to .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)
  4. Click OK
  5. Click Download files from Windows Update
  6. If asked, click Restart Now
