Description
While opening LT1 (legacy) the following error appears
Error: Could not load the following Machine/User/Email settings
Cause
This error generally appears when LT1 is installed and subsequently loaded for the first time. After loading and eventually exiting LT1 for the first time, it will write these settings files to the user’s %AppData% directory.
Rarely, this error can also occur if one of those settings files becomes corrupted. LT1 will rewrite the parts of those settings files that are corrupted so that it can continue to open the app.
Resolution
- Click OK
- Exit LT1 using one of the following methods
- Click File > Exit
- Click the X located at the top right corner of the application.
