Microsoft released Windows 11 version 22H4 on December 18, 2024. Since that time, we have seen some tablets unable to maintain a connection with the Laser Templator. This issue relates to a more wide-spread one affecting Bluetooth devices containing Dirac Audio with the cridspapo.dll file.
Microsoft has applied a combability hold on devices that may exhibit this issue preventing them from upgrading to Windows 11. If a device has already been upgraded with Windows 11 24H2 and is experiencing this issue. We recommend uninstalling the update until Microsoft releases an update.
Uninstall Windows 11 24H2 - "Go back Option"
- Click Start (Windows logo).
- Click Settings > Windows Update
- Click Advanced Options
- Click Recovery
- Click Go back
- Follow the remaining instructions.
If the option to Go back is not available, it means the update has been installed for too long to uninstall it using this method. In this case, Windows Recovery will need to be used to perform a rollback.
Uninstall Windows 11 24H2 - "Windows Recovery Option"
- Click Start (Windows logo)
- Click Settings > Windows Update
